                               LAS VEGAS & GRAND CANYON
                                                       (9 DAYS, 8 NIGHTS)

DAY-1 FLY WEST TO LAS VEGAS
Enjoy your flight over the mountains and the plains of America.  On arrival in Las Vegas you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy your free time to visit the other hotels and casinos and “try your luck”.  Overnight- Las Vegas. 

DAY-2 ZION CANYON NATIONAL PARK
After a lavish breakfast buffet we depart for a short drive to southern Utah, home of Zion Canyon National Park.  We partake in a group picnic and then we board a tram for a 90 minute tour to view the highlights of this great park.  We depart late afternoon for Richfield, Utah.  Overnight- Richfield, Utah.

DAY-3 CAPITOL REEF AND GRAND STAIRCASE ESCALANTE PARKS
We depart for a short drive to Capitol Reef.  After viewing this awe inspiring park we will enjoy lunch. About 2PM we begin our drive down Utah Highway 12 through the Grand Staircase Escalante National Park.  This land of gigantic boulders and mesa stretches for over 30 miles.  President Clinton made this a National Park in 1996.  We will stop several times for photo ops, arriving at Bryce Utah about 5PM. Overnight-Bryce, Utah. 

DAY-4 BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK
After a hearty buffet breakfast at “Rubys” we depart for the major sights of Bryce Canyon, home of the “Hoo Doos”.  These rock formations are only found in one place on earth, Bryce Canyon. You will learn how these formations were created and the other history surrounding this “top” national park.  We depart about Noon with lunch en-route to Page, Arizona.  Overnight-Page, Arizona. 

DAY-5 GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK SOUTH RIM
Today we depart for the grand daddy of all the national parks.  You guessed it, the Grand Canyon.  We enter the park through the east entrance and make several sightseeing spots before we arrive at our hotel late in the afternoon.  After check-in and a short rest we return to the canyon for a sunset view.  Dinner follows.  Overnight-Grand Canyon, Arizona. 

DAY-6 GRAND CANYON, WILLIAMS, LAUGHLIN, LAS VEGAS
We arise at 5AM (for those wanting to) for a sunrise visit to the canyon to capture this magnificent sunrise.  We enjoy coffee and donuts as we see the sun rise over the canyon and then partake in a full American breakfast.  We depart our hotel at 10:30AM for Williams, Arizona for shopping, lunch and old Route 66 nostalgia.  We continue on to Laughlin, Nevada for gambling, shopping and dinner on the Colorado River.  We arrive in Las Vegas about 10PM.  Overnight-Las Vegas. 

DAY-7 HOOVER DAM, LAS VEGAS
After breakfast we depart for a morning tour of Hoover Dam.  We return about 1PM. This afternoon is free time to enjoy on your own.   Enjoy a snooze or play your hand at poker or the slots.  At 5PM we convene for a group dinner and then at 8PM we will attend the light and sound show in “downtown”.  Overnight-Las Vegas 

DAY-9 FLY HOME
We depart for Las Vegas airport and our flight home.
